Kelsey Heer – Cure Kids Cancer

Kelsey Heer is beautiful, outgoing, and is a hero to many kids battling cancer and those we now call survivors. But Kelsey has been through a long ordeal herself – she fought and beat her cancer – Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. But she lives with the reality that there is an 80% chance it may come back in another form, so she gets check-ups regularly. You might think it would make her bitter, but she tells us that cancer has been a blessing to her. Because of cancer, she has met other amazing friends dealing with the same journey – kids she wouldn’t have met otherwise. And because of her ordeal, she doesn’t take life or people for granted.
