(l-r) Eldon Fisher, Jason Ellsworth, Amy Ellsworth, Geoff Gunderson, Jeff Koller. They are the Jukebox Zeroes and they've been putting on great rock shows across the region for over a decade. They formed to pay tribute to all the bands that inspired them to play music and they've done it better than most. A fantastically talented band, they're an all-star lineup in their own right.

You hear them tear through a set featuring Heart, Triumph, Whitesnake, even Boston (who in their right mind even ATTEMPTS a Boston song, much less pulls it off!?!) I admit it, I'm a fan of the band and am fortunate enough to have gotten to know them a bit over the years. Trust me, they're great people as well as great musicians.

About 18 months ago, I ran into Eldon at the gym and he told me they were starting to write and record an album of original material. I think I was as happy with the news as he was. This Saturday, the payoff comes for all of us with the DOUBLE CD "In Gratia". Over two dozen songs, all but five of them originals. You've heard them sprinkling in a lot of the new songs in their sets over the past six months or so. Their debut CD also includes five cover songs, one chosen by each member of the band.

The big CD Release Party is this Saturday night downtown Sioux Falls in the Historic Orpheum Theatre at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at both Last Stop CD Shop locations, Ernie November on 41st Street and all three Quality Lender locations. It's going to be a celebration of a LOT of hard work by some of our own: The Jukebox Zeroes. Come on out for the party!
