Reports of vehicles and people in the water in Washington state this evening as a portion of the I-5 bridge over the Skagit river has collapsed.

The bridge is located about an hour north of Seattle and about 90 minutes south of Vancouver.

Witnesses say a truck hit the bridge, causing it to collapse. An investigation is underway based on that information.

Luckily it happened when there was minimal traffic. All three people that went into the river were rescued, although there is no information on their condition.

There were no fatalities.
