When you take your drinking too far and wake up feeling like death, there’s a good chance you have a go-to hangover remedy.

While your remedy might give you psychological comfort, it probably isn’t really doing anything to heal your battered body.

Here’s a rundown of some popular hangover solutions that probably don’t really work:

•Egg sandwich
•Ramen noodles
•Meatball Sub from Subway
•Greasy pizza
•Taco Bell

One of my all-time favorites, carried over from my early 20's: Egg & Bean Burrito. Scramble two eggs with cheese. Heat a can of refried beans in a separate pan. Warm a flour tortilla in a frying pan (I don't seem to recall owning a microwave oven back in the day!) Add beans to the tortilla, layer of scrambled eggs, a little extra shredded cheese and La Victoria brand Salsa Brava. Roll it up and wash it down with a beer (a bit of the 'hair of the dog') Repeat if necessary.

***Disclaimer***I haven't actually tried the last hangover remedy in 10 years or so, but I seem to remember it working REAL good back then.
