Foreigner has rolled out its initial 2014 North American dates. The band, led by co-founding guitarist Mick Jones and fronted by lead singer Kelly Hansen, kick off the band's 2014 tour dates on February 7th in Midland, Texas at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center. The band has dates on the books through March 1st at Reno, Nevada's Silver Legacy Resort Casino.

Mick Jones spoke to Gibson.com and was asked if he ever felt underappreciated as a lead guitarist by the general public, and explained, "It was never really my personality to be a 'guitar hero.' I was always more interested in being part of a band, leading a band, than any personal fame as a musician. A lot of people I’ve worked with have said they think I’m 'overlooked' as a guitar player but that’s not my concern. I think I have a good appreciation within the guitar business, but I never really wanted to project myself so much."
