Eric Clapton starts his 2013 tour tonight (Thursday) at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix.

He's supporting his new album Old Sock, which came out Tuesday. The last two dates of this first leg are his all-star Crossroads Guitar Festival at Madison Square Garden in New York on April 12th and 13th.

Backing him on this tour will be longtime keyboardist Chris Stainton, drummer Steve Jordan, bassist Willie Weeks, guitarist Doyle Bramhall the Second, former Ace and Squeeze singer-keyboardist Paul Carrack, pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz and backing vocalists Michelle John and Sharon White. Opening will be The Wallflowers.
