Def Leppard DVD Out Today

After being screened twice in theaters this month, Def Leppard's Viva Hysteria concert film will be released today (Tuesday) on DVD and Blu-ray as well as CD.

Captured this past spring during their residency at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the band did their Hysteria album in its entirety. Looking back on those shows, guitarist Phil Collen tells us what impressed him most was how the band stepped it up, even if they were not 100-percent healthy. Phil says he had a hand injury and their other guitarist, Vivian Campbell, was being treated for cancer. "So if someone's suffering you would know it because everyone else morphed into something else."

There is talk of Def Leppard doing another Vegas residency next year.
