Children’s Care Hospital & School MallWalk 2014

Are you ready to do some walking?

It's all most time for the Children's Care Hospital and School "MallWalk 2014," now in its 20th year of being presented by the Children's Care Auxiliary.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 1st in the Empire Mall. 

Here's how to get started:

Individuals and teams first need to register for the walk. Then start collecting donations from family, friends and co-workers, either in person, on the phone, by mail and now online.

The goal this year is to raise $100,000 and clock is ticking. 

Walkers and teams have a chance to earn great prizes ranging from t-shirts to gift cards worth several hundred dollars from various merchants. There are a number of different prize levels based on the amount of money you or your team raise.  The great thing, all the money raised, every cent, goes directly to our kids.

Don't worry about these sub zero days, they won't get in the way. This year’s walk takes place in the warm comfort of the Empire Mall. Come out that morning for a casual stroll or make it a challenging workout.

Pre-registration is Thursday, January 30th from 12:00-6:00pm and again Friday, January 31st from 8:00-6:00pm at Children's Care Hospital and School, 2501 West 26th Street in Sioux Falls. You can turn in all your money early and claim your prizes to avoid the rush on Saturday morning.
