Camping Season Is Almost Here and Jim Gaffigan Captures My Feelings Perfectly

There are people in my extended family that love camping. Every year when the weather warms they try to rope me into sleeping in the woods. In April they start with some hints, "It's starting to stay warm at night."

Than in May it's "Weather is looking good for Memorial weekend." When it gets to June they start with the guilt, "Your kids would love it, get them away from the video games," or "When we were younger we loved camping, it's great family time."

I like fresh air as much as anyone, that's why my house has widows. I agree with what comedian Jim Gaffigan had to say in his stand up special King Baby about camping.

Either too cold or too hot, and too much sand. Oh and don't forget the creepy crawlies.

Can I please be board and make all my stuff smell like a campfire for the next month?

Nope, I'm not really a happy camper.
