Brandon Dries Out

The water recedes Saturday as roads re-open and life begins to return to normal in Brandon.  Neighborhoods are dotted with driveways containing rolls of carpet, padding and ripped out wall materials due to basement flooding.  Meanwhile kids enjoy the temporary transformation of McHardy park into a water park.

Many roads have re-opened, including 484 Ave, and Timberline Drive. 264th Street.

264th St, just east of the Beaver Valley Nature Area remains closed at the bridge.

The Brandon Golf Course remains open as putting greens and other areas become available for golfing.
