Blues Singing Kid Takes Over Facebook

His name isn’t “Brandon” as in the video title that has popped up everywhere on your Facebook News Feed over the past few days. It’s Brendan McFarlane, and the video was shot in 2009.

McFarlane was born in Scotland in 1997 where he still lives with his parents. He’s an accomplished singer/songwriter, composer and musician who has co-written the songs for his first album with his father and uncle. His forte’ is Gospel, Bluesgrass, and Country, but if the video above is any indication, he can definitely sing the blues!

Here’s another one of young Brendan doing “House of the Rising Sun” back in 2008.

And here’s one of him today
