Billy Idol Recording Again

Billy Idol is recording his first studio album since midway through the last decade.

Producing is Trevor Horn, the former Buggles and Yes member behind hits by not just those groups, but Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Pet Shop Boys and Seal. Horn says that Idol is "in great shape."

There's no word as to when the album is expected to come out. Idol's most recent studio output was a seasonal album, Happy Holidays, in 2006 and Devil's Playground a year before that.
