Gibson.com has put together a list of what its editors believe are the Top 10 Drummers of All-Time -- and it includes one big surprise.

Numbers one through nine are all heavy hitters -- from the late John Bonham at the top to Stewart Copeland of The Police at number-nine. But sitting at number-10 is the steady keeper of the beat, Ringo Starr, who's a staunch opponent of the drum solo.

Some pretty big names got left off the list, including Buddy Rich, Hal Blaine and Charlie Watts.
