Beer Could Cure the Common Cold

Quick! We need to take a poll of all beer drinkers and find out how many have the sniffles.

There is word out today that beer could cure the common cold!

Research has revealed a chemical compound in beer that helps the human body fight the virus behind the common cold. Only one problem, you have to drink about 30 cans of beer to get enough of the compound to really knock out the virus.

It could be a problem for some, just another day for others.

You know, come to think of it, back in the 80's and 90's, I don't remember having many colds. What I do remember, is spending a lot of time with my good friend "Bud" at places like Dakota Territory, After Five, Opies, Night City, Jamz, the list goes on and on. Hey, they just might be on to something here.

Think of the possibilities for the beer companies. Budweiser, the king of cold prevention.-- Miller Lite, tastes great, less filling, never blow your nose.-- Or how about, here's to good friends, tonight is kind of special, never catch a cold, make it 30 Lowenbrau's.
