After a eight season run on HBO, 'Entourage' is coming back... but this time on the big screen. We knew there was a finished script, but today Warner Brothers has given the project the green light.
Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury showing up at the end of a Marvel movie to recruit an Avenger happened so often it became an all too familiar joke. But now that 'The Avengers' are assembled, how will the next set of Marvel films lead into future sagas? If rumors are true, Marvel is planning to use Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in the Fury role at the end of 'Iron Man 3.'
A while back it was revealed that 'A Good Day to Day Hard,' the fourth sequel in the quarter-century old franchise, would be rated R. Huzzah, right? Well, going by this new clip, it's hard to tell exactly when that decision was made.
2015 was looking to be one of the biggest years in cinema history, as the summer was set to hold 'Star Wars - Episode 7,' 'The Avengers 2' and 'Justice League.' Recently there was word that we might not get 'Episode 7' in 2015 and now we're hearing that Warner Brothers has yet to fully commit to 'Justice League,' and the only way it moves forward is if 'Man of Steel' is a hit.
There may have been some wiggle-room yesterday about the news that J.J. Abrams was set to direct 'Star Wars Episode 7,' but Disney and Lucasfilm have confirmed that your new 'Star Wars' director was your old 'Star Trek' director.
Dwayne Johnson has got a busy 2013. 'Snitch' is his first film of the year, which will be followed by 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation,' then 'Pain and Gain,' and finally this summer's 'Fast Six.' And though 'Snitch' might be the least interesting of the four, it's got a good hook, as the latest trailer emphasizes.
If you're Marvel Studios, you've got a reason to feel a little cocky. Their film 'The Avengers' was 2012's biggest hit by a wide margin, and they've already set up a game plan of films that stretch into 2015. Most of those are sequels, but they have a deep body of characters to draw from, and -- as rumored -- one of the next characters to transition to the big screen will be Doctor Strange.
'Guardians of the Galaxy,' Marvel's weirdest upcoming superhero film, may be looking for a strong anchor for the title (they may need to, it does feature a talking raccoon). Word is they're going out to both Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey for a role in the film.
Though 'Mad Max: Fury Road' may star Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, if this film is anything like the previous entries it's possible they could be upstaged by the cars and stunts in the film. And as we wait to see the movie (which is scheduled to come out sometime in 2014), now you can see some of the vehicles from the film.
If there's one thing that can be taken for granted when it comes to a Judd Apatow production, it's that there's going to be a lot of deleted scenes. 'This is 40' is no exception, and now there's a blooper reel, which shows the actors corpsing (show business talk for breaking character by laughing) during takes.
