Alice and Sam Are Bowling In Heaven. Ann B. Davis of the ‘Brady Bunch’ Has Passed Away
Everyone’s favorite housekeeper, Alice Nelson, has passed away. Ann B. Davis who played Alice on “The Brady Bunch” died early this morning (June 1) after falling in her bathroom and hitting her head. According to TMZ, members of the church she was close to are planning the funeral. She never married and had no children.
When I was kid, “The Brady Bunch” was my absolute favorite show! To this day, I still watch the reruns whenever I find them on TV and I have all of the seasons on DVD. I loved Alice’s quirky, self-deprecating sense of humor. She reminded me of another childhood favorite, Carol Burnett.
I guess, like the rest of us, Alice couldn’t live forever, but it’s not easy to lose a childhood favorite. Alice and Sam are together again, bowling and dancing in heaven.
