Election Day is Tuesday, April 8th.

According to a press release Sioux Falls residents will be able to vote absentee Saturday.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Residents will be able to absentee vote for the City of Sioux Falls Municipal/School Board Election on Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Minnehaha County Auditor’s Office, 415 N. Dakota Ave.

Absentee voting, in person, will end at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014. An authorized messenger may return a ballot before 3:00 p.m. on Election Day, April 8, 2014.

Voters will be able to choose: one School Board member; one Mayor; one At-Large City Council Member “A”; one At-Large City Council Member “B”; and one City Council Member each for the Central and Southeast Districts. Three Charter Amendments are also on the ballot.  In addition, two Initiated Measures and two Referred Laws were brought forth by the citizens of Sioux Falls.
