Let's face it, there are many delicious places across this great nation of ours to grab something to eat. But, if you are looking to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience when it comes to dining, then you have to make plans to eat at these 60 restaurants.

Cheapism recently published a list of the nations 60 most iconic restaurants you need to visit before you die, and there was one listed in South Dakota. The place in South Dakota that you must try at least once in your life is located in Hill City, a place called, The Alpine Inn.

According to the website:

This quaint Gold Rush-era inn is mostly a lunch joint featuring German specialties that reviewers call spot on, as well as exceptionally cheap. Bring cash and prepare for a wait.

As for what to order, the article says: "Filet mignon is one of only two dinner selections, but it's superb." So the next time you head out west, make a quick stop to the Alpine Inn, you won't be disappointed.
