Waitress Fired For Posting ‘God’ Receipt

The pastor that gained unwanted attention for the note she left for her waitress at a St. Louis-area Applebee's saying that "I give God 10%, why do you get 18%?" (the group she was in was eight people which automatically triggers the 18% gratuity) has now gotten the waitress fired.

The pastor, identified as Alois Bell, complained to the manager that the waitress, Chelsea Welch, had 'ruined' her reputation by posting a picture of the receipt to Reddit, a social network site.

Welch thought the photo was insulting and comical at the same time and that 'other users may find it entertaining.'

One person who definitely wasn't 'entertained' was Bell, who complained to the manager after the photo went viral. No word on whether Welch will pursue legal action to get her job back.
