The Minnesota Vikings pulled a power move this weekend by not allowing their quarterbacks coach to leave them this offseason as they already saw their offensive coordinator do.

Kevin Stefanski was denied the right to interview and potentially be hired by the New York Giants as he is still under contract and the Vikings and they didn't want him leaving prior to that contract running out.

Pat Shurmur the new Giants head coach, worked side by side with Stefanski in Minnesota and the thought was that he was the leader to take the OC job in New York.

According to multiple reports, many thought Stefanski would be allowed to interview after he was passed up for the Vikings OC job with the hiring of Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo last week.

That obviously wasn't the case and Stefanski will stay in his current role for the Vikings while the Giants continue their search for a offensive coordinator.
