UPDATE: Missing Boy Found Safe

Sioux Falls Police received the report of a missing child early Monday.

During the Monday morning Police Briefing in Sioux Falls, the Department's Loren McMannus said 11 year old Matthew L. Hill was believed to be with a family member.  At this time, police have been unable to make contact with Matthew.

By early Monday afternoon we received word that Matthew was found safe and had been returned home. No other information was made available as interviews are being conducted.

Matthew left home around dusk on Sunday, saying he was visiting a friend in the neighborhood.  When he didn't return, his guardians called 911 after checking with several of his friends.
