Twisted Sister are getting in on the relief action. The group is presenting a concert, A Twisted Christmas to aid in Hurricane Sandy Relief. On Sunday, December 16, the group will perform with special guests to raise proceeds for: Long Island Cares, Harry Chapin Foundation, New York Station Troopers PBA, The Island Park School District Music Program and Long Beach Police PBA.

Dee Snider said, "During this season of giving and getting, spent with family and friends, it is important [that] none of us forget those who lost so much during Hurricane Sandy. Twisted Sister hopes that this rare holiday show will raise much needed awareness and revenues for those unfortunate friends and neighbors. Our band still lives in NY, Long Island and Staten Island. This is our home. We are happy to be able to do something to help."

The groups goal is to raise $100,000 for those affected.

The host will be Andrew W.K..

100% of the net proceeds from ticket sales will go to Sandy relief.

Twisted Sister kicked off this holiday tradition after the 2006 release of their A Twisted Christmas album.
