Farmer's Almanac

The Farmer's Almanac has put the data together and has released the Spring 2020 weather forecast. And it looks like it could be quite chilly.

For us in the upper Midwest the winter of 2019 - 2020 looks like a 'kick in the you know whats'.

The summer months in South Dakota are going to vary a bit depending on what part of the state you are in, if you believe old school predictions.

Last winter we had the 5th snowiest on record. Are we set to see a sequel? No. A much warmer winter is forecast.

New 'forecast' completely contradicts the Old Farmer's Almanac

According to the Almanac, all of South Dakota is going to see a warm 2018-2019 winter.

January is scheduled to have to full moons and one of them is tonight. A Wolf Moon, Blue Moon and both are 'Super Moons'.

I'm not quite ready to sell my snow-blower, but the 2018 Farmer's Almanac calls for a mild winter for the Upper Midwest.

There's something mystical and magical about the moon. And if you ask the oceans and seas you know there's something scientific about it too.
