The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released their 2024 Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday, and defending Champion Augustana came in at #2.

It was an enormous performance and win for Augustana Football over the weekend, as they took down #3 Minnesota State at home here in Sioux Falls.

Another week and another Augustana Viking Football win. Coach Jerry Olzsewski has his team out to an impressive 6-0 start to the season, and they are finally being rewarded with a spot in the latest rankings.

It was a great weekend to be a Yote. The USD Football team went up to Fargo and took down #2 NDSU with a 24-19 road stunner.

The Key to the City rivalry game is this weekend, and the Augustana Vikings, who enter the contest at 4-0, are receiving votes in the latest set of rankings.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbit football program has been as solid as they come this season at the FCS level. After a close season-opening defeat on the road at Iowa, the Jacks enter their rivalry matchup with USD at 4-1 overall.

College Volleyball season has just about arrived, and both USD and South Dakota State find themselves in the top 5 of the preseason coaches poll for the Summit League.

Football season may be getting a lot of the headlines lately, but volleyball season is about to be in full swing again as well. One area program sits atop the Preseason Coaches Poll for this season, in what is a very well represented poll for the Big Ten.

The College Football season continues to creep closer, with week 0 games now on the horizon. Area programs were not represented particularly well in the first coaches poll ahead of the upcoming season.
