If the Weather Channel's new long-range winter forecast is correct, we won't be seeing bone-chilling cold for most of the winter. Good news or not?

Last winter we had the 5th snowiest on record. Are we set to see a sequel? No. A much warmer winter is forecast.

If these latest models are correct, South Dakota and much of the country are in for a warmer than normal winter. Is that good news?
