After a big win at home over tenth-ranked North Dakota, capping a 3-0 non-conference schedule, the University of South Dakota football is moving up in a big way in the FCS polls.

The Coyotes (3-0) are 13th in this week's STATS FCS Top 25, the highest a USD football team has ever been ranked at the Division I level.

South Dakota is 14th in the FCS Coaches Poll, matching their best ranking ever, from 2011.

The Coyotes are one of seven teams from the Missouri Valley Football Conference ranked in the top 25:
