Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Korn lead the lineup of the seventh annual Rock On The Range festival, which is expanding to three days and will take place on Friday, May 17th, Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th at its now traditional home, Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Other acts slated to appear over the course of the packed weekend include the Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Cheap Trick, Bullet For My Valentine, Volbeat, Lamb Of God, Skillet, Buckcherry, Halestorm, Hollywood Undead, David Draiman's new band Device, Sevendust, Sick Puppies, Asking Alexandria, Pop Evil, In This Moment, Young Guns, Otherwise and more.

Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell said in a statement, "We're really looking forward to returning to Rock On The Range with a batch of brand new killer Alice tunes to play for everyone!"

It appears that former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch will be joining the band for the Rock On The Range show, with singer Jonathan Davis saying, "Head is back!! Rock On The Range is going to start it all off!! Get ready, we are going to hit it hard!!"

It's been previously announced that Welch would be performing shows with the band at festivals in Germany during the summer.

Rock On The Range promoters have also announced the debut of a comedy tent, as well as a new site layout that will "create better event flow, to add more interactive fan activity to the festival, and to allow even more people to experience the higher caliber of talent on the second stage this year."

Pre-sale weekend tickets are being offered at $89.50 on Wednesday, January 30th and Thursday, January 31st, with a limited number of "four ticket packs" also available for $299.

General public ticket sales begin on Friday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. ET, with VIP packages, hotel/ticket bundles and camping packages also available in addition to regular ticket orders.

The nationally renowned festival, centrally located in the heart of the country, has annually drawn weekend crowds in excess of 70,000 since its inception in 2007.
