Further proving that record sales are slipping in the 21st century, Aerosmith's new release Music From Another Dimension is only on pace to sell about 75,000 copies in it's first week.

The album is Aerosmith's first release of all new material in eleven years, but would be a big drop-off from the sales of 2004's Blues covers album Honkin' On Bobo which sold 161,000 copies it's first week. 2001's Just Push Play, Aerosmith's last release of original material, debuted at number-two thanks to first-week sales in the range of 240,000 copies.

Aerosmith, with special guests Cheap Trick continue their tour this weekend. Episodes six and seven of The Making of Music From Another Dimension have been posted on the band's website.
