Only Five Players from the Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota Colleges are Active for Super Bowl
It's not like South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa or Minnesota are true hot spots for football stars and only five players from those state's colleges and universities are represented on the active rosters for Super Bowl 51.
The New England Patriots have one player active representing those states and the Atlanta Falcons have four.
The active player from the New England Patriots is rookie defensive tackle Vincent Valentine from the University of Nebraska.
The four players from the Atlanta Falcons are Jonathan Babineaux DT out of Iowa, De'Vondre Campbell OLB and DT Ra'Shede Hageman from the University of Minnesota and Tom Compton T from the University of South Dakota.
Super Bowl 51 is in Houston, TX on February 5th on Fox.
