Investigators have been unable to find answers that can solve the mystery of Alicia Hummel's death. A reward is in place for new information.

Attorney General Marty Jackley in a press release brought the case back into the consciousness of the public in an attempt to get a step closer to justice. Closure is no closer one year later.

Law Enforcement continues to search for information that may assist in the Alicia Hummel homicide investigation. Alicia Marie Folkers Hummel, 29, Sioux City, Iowa, was found in the late afternoon on June 1, 2015, near the boat dock at Myron Grove, also known as the Highline Area of Clay County.

 

Today marks the one year anniversary of Alicia’s death and law enforcement continues to follow-up leads and asks the public to provide any information that may assist them in this investigation. An anonymous reward of up to $5,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the suspect. Individuals with any information are asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 605-677-7100.
