NASA is recruiting volunteers to lie in bed for 70 days to research the effects of microgravity on the Human body. The study, which is currently on-going, will pay the volunteers $5,000-a-month. The study takes place in Houston, where a volunteer stays for two weeks, doing daily activities for researchers, so they can monitor the volunteer's body in normal conditions. They are then put into a tilted bed for 70 days where there are 16 hours of light and eight hours of darkness. The participants are allowed access to computer games, TV, books, the internet, and visitors are permitted. All food is provided by NASA to keep the subject at a constant weight. The only time you can move is when scientists carry out tests to find out any changes in bone, muscle, circulation, nutrition and the immune system.

Wonder if I can get a couple months off from the radio station?
