Yoko Ono has allowed the use of John Lennon's song "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)" for Glee producer Ryan Murphy's other show, the NBC comedy, The New Normal, according to Artistdirect.com. The song, written about John and Yoko's then five-year-old son, Sean Lennon, was featured on Lennon's final album, 1980's Double Fantasy.

Murphy explained how he got the song at a recent panel discussion at Paley Fest in Los Angeles, saying, "We reached out to Yoko Ono to get permission to use that song for an entire act with no dialogue and she said yes." The series is based around a gay couple hiring a surrogate to carry their baby. The one-hour season finale of The New Normal will air on April 2nd. Check your local listings for stations and times.
