Don't look now, but the South Dakota State men are on a roll.

The Jackrabbit men have reeled off four straight wins to move them to within a half-game of the top as the Summit League enters week four.

SDSU starts the week at home, with a Wednesday game against  Fort Wayne, before heading to Tulsa Saturday to battle Oral Roberts.

Last week started with a 68-53 win over IUPUI, a game which featured the Jacks scoring the first 15 points.

It was a departure for a team that's struggled with slow starts at times this season.  But as good as the first few minutes went against the Jaguars, head coach Scott Nagy says it could have been better:

Saturday's match-up with South Dakota was nothing short of bizarre.

The Coyotes scored the first 20 points of the game, only to see the Jackrabbits respond with 18 straight of their own, 28 of the next 30, to ultimately take the lead, and eventually win the game 71-57.

Coach Nagy says his biggest concern about his team's slow start wasn't at the offensive end, even though the SDSU missed their first 12 shots:

It's another home game for South Dakota State to start week four of the Summit League schedule.

The Jacks host Fort Wayne Wednesday night, meaning a big test inside for SDSU's post players who will go up against big Steve Forbes, who's coming off back-to-back 20 point games.

Coach Nagy says Forbes presents challenges in the paint:

Tipoff is 7:00 PM Wednesday night in Brookings.
