Teacher Upset After Parent Complained To Admin About Her Breasts Being Big
Imagine doing your job well, for six years straight, and one day, you're called into your boss's office, not for a mistake, but because a parent is upset that their child noticed your "really big boobs."
A Parent's Complaint About a Teacher’s Body
This middle school teacher took to Reddit to share her frustration. "I always follow the dress code and have never been dress-coded in the six years I’ve been in education. Everyone always compliments my outfits!" she began. Yet, despite her adherence to school policies and the admiration she’s received for her fashion choices, she was pulled aside by her principal after a parent complained. The parent’s concern? Their son was "talking about my boobs at home."

Instead of addressing this concern with their child, the parent of the 8th grader chose to bring it up with the school administration, questioning whether the teacher was violating the dress code. Fortunately, the principal stood by the teacher, reassuring the parent that she was indeed following the dress code and that her figure was simply a natural part of who she is.
"My admin straight up told the parent that I always follow the dress code and I am just naturally 'blessed,'" the teacher shared. "I’ve NEVER had a parent complain about my body. I’m just a curvy girl and I physically cannot hide it," she concluded.
Reddit Users Come To Her Defense
The teacher’s story quickly gained traction online, with users coming to her defense. The comments were filled with outrage, not at the teacher, but at the parent who filed the complaint.
One user pointed out the real issue: "So instead of the parent talking to their kid about respecting someone's body and minding their own business, [the parent] decided to complain to your higher-up. I hate my generation so much. We are failing as parents." Another user offered what should have been the parent’s approach: "'Look son, I know you’re a growing boy, and sometimes you may have an attractive teacher; it’s okay to look a bit, but don’t stare, don’t be weird, and keep it to yourself.' It’s that easy."
The comments continued in a similar vein, with one user summing it up perfectly: "It says a lot that this parent's response to their 13-year-old sexualizing their teacher was to run and complain to the principal because [checks notes] you have a body, instead of telling the kid to focus on school and, by the way, we don't talk about women like that."
