Do You Own One of the Top Selling Vehicles in Iowa?

After a recent accident, my wife and I are looking for a new vehicle.  Long story short, a car pulled in front of us, and two airbags deployed equals a totaled car.  While searching for a vehicle I thought if I’m looking for a car I bet others are too.  It's a crazy thought but many people buy cars at all times.  There are so many cars to choose from small, medium and large, even extra-large.  We are seeking a medium-ish type of car but that’s not what most Iowans are looking for.  What is the best-selling car in all of Iowa?  Will you be shocked to learn what the #1 selling vehicle is?  Also, not fair to jump to #1, the other cars will know.

#5)The #5 top-selling vehicle isn’t a pick-up truck.  Nothing strange there, you wouldn’t expect a moped here or anything, though a good sidecar would be nice.  That is the Chevrolet Equinox.  Wikipedia says many things about the Equinox. "The Chevrolet Equinox is a crossover SUV introduced by Chevrolet in 2004 for the 2005 model year. It was intended to replace the North American Chevrolet Tracker and Chevrolet S-10 Blazer."

#4) Next up at the #4 position starts the pick-up truck domination.  Iowans choose the GMC Sierra.

#3) Good things come in threes and coming in at the #3 vehicle purchased by Iowans is a RAM.  How I wish it had horns and could run into us on a mountaintop while letting out a baaaaaah.  This could still hit you pretty good but let's hope it doesn't.  Ram 1500/2500/3500 are in the running for top vehicles purchased in Iowa.

#2) Being kept out of the top spot by the #1 selling vehicle is The Ford F-Series.  The F-Series was first introduced in 1948 as a replacement for a previous pickup model line based on car platforms. Since 1977, the F-Series has remained the best-selling pickup truck line in the United States; it has been the best-selling vehicle overall since 1981.
