Sioux Falls will be playing host to a very prestigious soccer tournament this week and in the process bringing 5 to 6 thousand visitors to our city.

The U.S. Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup tournament will bring over 180 teams from 13 states to Sioux Falls. These teams are competing at Yankton Trail Park for a place in the National Tournament in Wichita, Kansas.

Sioux Falls last hosted a U.S. Youth Soccer event in 2017 for the Region II Midwest Championships, but the Midwest Presidents Cup is a tier above in the tournament hierarchy. Everyone is invited to watch this exciting soccer competition.
In addition to the tournament at Yankton Trail Park, the Midwest Presidents Cup will also include "Party Off the Pitch" in Downtown Sioux Falls, on Friday, June 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM on Phillips Avenue between 9th and 10th streets.
There will be a DJ, games, giveaways, and more all while encouraging the teams to explore everything in downtown Sioux Falls.
There will also be a Father's Day 5K on Sunday, June 16, from 8 to 10 AM at Tomar Park, with "Donuts With Dad" at the finish line.
