What's Being Recalled
The INIU 10,000mAh portable power banks (model BI-B41) featuring black or blue cases with the INIU logo and distinctive paw-print LED light are at the center of this safety alert. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warns that defective lithium-ion batteries in these devices can overheat and catch fire, creating serious burn and fire hazards.
The Danger Is Real
INIU has documented 15 overheating incidents, including 11 fires resulting in three minor burn injuries and approximately $400,000 in property damage. These aren't isolated incidents—they represent a safety threat to consumers.
Check Your Device Now
These power banks were sold exclusively on Amazon.com between August 2021 and April 2022 for around $18. Look on the back of your device for the model and serial number.
Only units with serial numbers 000G21, 000H21, 000I21, and 000L21 are affected.
