
Reports Of Gun Shots All Over Sioux Falls Early Tuesday Morning
The Sioux Falls Police Department received at least 10 calls concerning gunshots being fired from many different locations in the city.
According to Sioux Falls Public Information Officer Sergeant Aaron Benson, there were multiple reports of gunshots being fired between 5:30 and 6:00 on Tuesday morning.
The gunfire reports we received from many locations all over Sioux Falls, including:
- 24th & Summit Ave.
- 20th & 7th Ave.
- 15th & Lake Ave.
- 1800 Block of East 54th Street
- 22nd & Philips Ave.
The police are actively seeking video surveillance from these locations to identify any suspects or vehicles involved.
Residents with relevant information are encouraged to contact the Sioux Falls Police Department.
It is suspected that the gunshot calls might be related and possibly involve a vehicle, but this is not confirmed.
The public is encouraged to provide any video surveillance footage or information related to the gunshot calls through Crime Stoppers or the P3 app.
The use of the Crime Stoppers P3 app allows for anonymous submissions, enhancing community-police collaboration.
No damage, injuries, or suspect descriptions reported; investigations are ongoing.
