Free Summer Meal Program for Sioux Falls Children
Eating nutritious food is so important to children during their formative years. Anyone can tell you that. And during the school year, even children who aren't necessarily eating regularly at home can get a good meal at school.
But what happens when school is not in session? Some children would just go hungry without the Sioux Falls School District's Free Summer Meal Program.
The best thing about it besides the fact that the meals are free is that no paperwork is involved. The only rule is that the meals must be consumed at the school and not taken out. Any child up to 18 years old can come into the schools below for a free meal from May 28 through August 9.
