The Allstate Driver Report uses data-driven information and tools to help millions travel more safely this Thanksgiving. Their analysis, based on 2 million trips, looks at how Americans really drive and considers distractions that make travel more dangerous.

Apparently, people handling their phones jump by 10% when people are heading out and returning from Thanksgiving. Speeding is also an issue on Sunday morning when people are in a rush to get home from their holiday.
So, when is the best time to travel for Thanksgiving? The least busy times to travel are:
- Evenings from 7 to 10 PM
- Overnights from 10 PM to 1 AM
- Morning rush hours from 7 to 11 AM, especially on Thanksgiving Day and Friday
The busiest times to travel are:
- Lunch hours from 11 AM to 3 PM
- Afternoons from 3 to 7 PM (especially on Wednesday)
