Money Raised at Sioux Empire On-Tap Donated to Feeding SD

The 9th Annual Sioux Empire On-Tap was a great time for beer lovers in Sioux Falls. The event last month (February 18, 2023) at the Sioux Falls Convention Center brought together tasters and brewers for a great time.

Along with the beer, live music, and fun, organizers of the event from Results-Townsquare Media Sioux Falls in conjunction with MD Engraving & Gifts collected donations for Feeding South Dakota.

By the end of the event, they had collected $1500 from the sales of a special, limited edition tumbler. One hundred percent of the proceeds were presented to Feeding South Dakota on Wednesday (3/1).

"Our donation will provide 326 South Dakota children with backpacks filled with food," said Scott Smith of Results-Townsquare Media. "Oftentimes, this food fills a gap, during weekends and holidays, when low-income children don't have access to meals at school."

Feeding South Dakota is a statewide hunger relief organization dedicated to fighting hunger for children. Learn more at feedingsouthdakota.org.
