When you walk outside of your home, you never know what the day will bring. But most likely you wouldn't think "poop" would fall from the sky out of nowhere.

Isn't it considered lucky when birds drop a "present" on you? Well...one Minnesota family begs to differ on this superstition. They were not too happy after something smelling awful fell from the sky and landed on their car.

Our news partners at Dakota News Now are reporting Carisa Browne and her son from Burnsville, Minnesota were enjoying the morning by grabbing coffee. While waiting at the local Caribou Coffee drive-thru, Carisa explains that "some foul-smelling stuff fell from the sky." Carisa's car and the car in front of her were covered with this brown stuff. “I was waiting in line, getting my daily coffee … and all of a sudden, brown dropped onto my vehicle,” “It was like it rained brown for a second… I got out, and I went to the car in front of me. I was like, ‘What just happened to us?’ And he was like, ‘I have no idea,' ” says Carisa. She fully believes that it was feces that fell on the car.

So what the heck fell on these cars? Was it feces? Did a flock of birds fly by? Honestly, it could be either...or waste dumped from a plane. Carisa Browne just happened to study aircraft mechanics. She makes a note that this particular residential area is under a flight path, which would explain the foul-smelling waste.

Some reporters have reached out to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and are waiting to see if a flock of birds were behind this gross attack. More details on the story could be found here.

This was just an unlucky and rotten accident in my book. But at least Carisa got her coffee for the day!
