The Chicks are Coming to Sioux Falls in 2023

The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is proud to welcome The Chicks to the Sioux Falls stage on Friday, September 1st. The original group members of The Chicks (Martie Maguire and Emily Robison) have been together since 1990. Former lead vocalists Robin Lynn Macy left the group in 1992 as well as Laura Lynch in 1993. Natalie Maines came into the group in 1995.

Despite band member changes, some controversies, and name changes, The Chicks have had a giant career. They created chart-topping songs including "I Can Love You Better," "Cowboy Take Me Away," "Wide Open Spaces," and "There's Your Trouble."

Fun fact: These were some of the first songs I listened to when I was growing up. My mom would always play "Wide Open Spaces."
