One of the sweetest South Dakota dogs is finally getting her long-awaited second chance. She has been waiting over 100 days for this moment.

After holding out for her hero, 4-year-old Terrier/Mix Narma at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society has finally found her "fur-ever" home.

The staff at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society couldn't be happier for Narma. She has grown so much while being at the local animal shelter. Her hard work paid of!

During her time at the shelter, Narma blossomed into the amazing, loving dog we knew she could be.

Watching her come out of her shell has been such a joy, and now she gets to keep shining in her new home.

After 125 days in our care, this sweet girl has finally found her family!

This adoption is a special one for many. Narma is one of the many success stories at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society.

Congratulations, Narma! You are so loved!

South Dakota's Weird Exotic Animal Laws Are Amazing

Have an interesting pet or looking to get one? Check this out from South Dakota Exotic Animal Laws before you go trying to adopt one.

You will need a zoo permit to harbor a raccoon dog. That's a real species. It's a small wild dog with a black facial mask and long fur, native to the forests of Asia.
