One of the most caring Sioux Falls dogs is patiently waiting for a second chance. If any South Dakota, Iowa, or Minnesota family is looking for a new friend, consider adopting Narma.

Narma is a 4-year-old Terrier/Mix currently at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. She's "holding out for a hero," and looking for someone to love.

It's no secret that the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is overwhelmed with four-legged friends who need new homes. All pets are important at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society, but some have just been waiting a little bit longer than most for a new life.

Staff at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society say that Narma is waiting to find her "constant companionship." They promise she will give her new best friend "enthusiastic kisses!"

Narma has been waiting at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society for over 100 days. She has been growing distant, but her heart is still holding on to hope.

Someone charming, but more importantly, dependable, kind, and caring.
Someone willing to give her the love she’s been denied in the past,
and ready to whisk her away into a better life.
Narma may be the perfect passenger princess,
but don’t mistake her softness for weakness.
She’s faced her share of hardships and met them with courage and heart.
She’s won every heart she’s met with her unstoppable confidence
and her unwavering need to never leave your side.
Her heart isn’t content unless it’s curled up beside yours.

Narma is just one of many heartbreaking stories and dogs who need homes at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. You can read more about Narma's story here.

Will you rescue Narma and be her hero?
