Here’s How Many People Attended The 2024 Minnesota State Fair
The 2024 Minnesota State Fair has officially wrapped and overall, it seems like it was a relatively calm, low-key event this time around.
There were amazing concerts, from Blake Shelton to Chance The Rapper, along with a ton of free entertainment and something for everyone.
Of course, we can't forget the new foods that I saw all over social media. I am devastated I didn't get to go and test out the deep-fried ranch but hopefully next year they bring it back!
Overall, it was another great summer for the Great Minnesota Get-Together! Just how busy? We have that answer.
Nearly two-million people attended this year! Organizers shared the exact number of attendees, coming in at 1,925,904 people. Wow! That is insane.
In fact, even opening day at the 2024 Minnesota State fair was record-breaking, with record attendance this year! The record was held by opening day in 2019.

How do these overall attendance numbers compare? Attendance in 2024 was up by about 100,000 people this year compared to last, even despite some pretty hot days.
Similar to opening day, the record for overall attendance was also set in 2019, with about two-million people venturing to the Minnesota State Fair to eat all the foods and drink all the drinks.
2024 will go down, as of now, as the fifth most-attended fair in history. We will have to wait and see what 2025 brings! Like I said, I hope it is more deep-fried ranch.
