As of April 1, 2022, you will need a new fishing license for the season that runs from that date through March 31, 2023.

In addition to being able to purchase the fishing license online, you can also do so at 140 locations throughout North Dakota according to the North Dakota Game and Fish Department.

A friendly reminder that only individuals who are 17 and older need to have a fishing license, with those 16 and under not needing to have one.
