Get ready for some snow and wind Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected to develop late Monday morning and continue into Monday night in the Sioux Falls area. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Sioux Falls and the surrounding area starting at noon Monday

The wind and snow may produce blowing snow Monday afternoon and again late Monday night. Sioux Falls is sitting on the line between 4-6" and the 6-8" snowfall prediction. However, the storm could always track north or south which could alter those predictions.

The strong northwest winds will also produce wind chills from -20 to -30 degrees below 0.
