Bob Seger Announcement This Week

Bob Seger is set to make a big announcement this week, no doubt about the new album he's been working on for the past few years.

Seger has written new songs, but he's also been sifting through his archives for unreleased material he might want to freshen up. He said last summer that some of that stuff was "from the last album -- stuff that I really liked and I got talked out of and I'm really sorry I did. I could actually put (an album) out now if I wanted to, but I'm just going to write a little more before I make a final decision."

Possible titles for the new album, which will be his first since 2006's Face the Promise, are Wonderland and Ride Out.
