Go back to 2015 when ticket holders for upcoming Foo Fighters concerts were put on hold due to the badly broken leg of frontman Dave Grohl.

It could have been much worse.

In an interview with Billboard, Grohl recalls how instrumental (pun intended) Paul McCartney was in finding the care he needed to get back on the road quickly. Sir Paul and his family "basically set up the entire surgery in London" for Grohl.

With the upcoming album Concrete and Gold ready to drop on September 15th, McCartney plays drums on one of the tracks.

The Foo Fighters tour continues with an upcoming show on November 11 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
